Here some more information about Oxapampa:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oxapampa in the central high Amazon region of Peru, at about approximately 1800 meters above sea level, has a very pleasant climate and the tranquility of the country – side? Our houses are located above the small town of Oxapampa in a distance of approximately 8 km from the center of the village. You can reach us by car o taxi in 10 to 15 minutes.<\/p>\n

We are located in\u00a0 the buffer-zone of the National Park Yanachaga \u2013 Chemillen and in the Biosphere Reserve Oxapampa \u2013 Ashaninka \u2013 Yanesha.<\/p>\n

You can reach Oxapampa from Lima via the main-route\u00a0 by bus in 8 to 10 hours. If you like to make a stop-over in Chancamayo,\u00a0 there are a number of good hotels in La Merced and San Ram\u00f3n. We recommend the Hotel Fundo San Jose \u2013 www.fundosanjose.com.pe<\/a><\/p>\n

A national airport in Oxapampa is in planed, but it will take some time for its final construction. But there are direct flights from 1 hour by small planes from Lima with the company AEROLINK. An alternative is to fly from Lima to Jauja with LATAM enterprise, and then follow up to Oxapampa via La Merced overland on a 4 hour trip.<\/p>\n

There exist a number of interesting alternative ways from Lima to Oxapampa to the main-rut. Some we will offer as tours, later in 2019.<\/p>\n

The surroundings:<\/strong><\/p>\n

From the provincial capital Oxapampa, you have easy access to Chontabamba, Huancabamba, Pozuzo, Vila Rica, etc…From our houses you can walk up to the National Park Yanachaga \u2013 Chemillen with his unique flora and fauna. The environment is particularly good for bird-watching!<\/p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
